Adapters are fully machined, hardcoat anodized, and come complete with swivel washers. Adapters sizes 1" thru 3-1/2" have 3 spanner wrench lugs and sizes 4" thru 6" have 4 lugs. | | Aluminum Couplings also are Made In The USA from the same aircraft grade 6061-T6 seamless extrusions, hardcoat anodized, and come complete with expansion rings and gaskets. Swivels are attached with hard alloy aluminum piston ring on 1" thru 2-1/2" and stainless steel ball bearings on 3" and 3-1/2". On 4" thru 6", swivels attached with aluminum rollers. There are three (3) lugs on 1" thru 3-1/2" and four (4) lugs on 4" and larger. Our Brass Expansion Ring Couplings are forged from 46400 alloy brass. No sand castings are used in our manufacturing process. This provides high strength and corrosion resistance for atmospheres such as sea water, chemical plants, etc... exceeding WW-C-621 specifications. |  |
Sizes 1-1/2" thru 4" are available with Rocker Lugs and many sizes are available with Pin Lugs. | Expansion Rings are manufactured from soft annealed, seamless Red Brass tubing in alloy UNS C23000. All rings are de-burred and are provide with one chamfered end to prevent cutting the hose at the bowl lip. We offer sizes 1" thru 6" in all standard lengths. Upon request special lengths are available. Our Swivel Washers and Tail (Bowl) Gaskets are manufactured from EPDM rubber and produced by Lathe Cutting process. Swivel Washers are 70 durometer and Tail Gaskets are 60 durometer per NFPA specifications. Special threads and Custom Special Stamps are also offered for special orders.
